Virtual Therapy for Adults Across Ontario
Letโs start this journey together.
You donโt have to navigate lifeโs challenges alone. Iโm Charlene Sainz, a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #13312), providing virtual psychotherapy to adults across Ontario.
I offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore what youโre experiencing and begin working toward meaningful change. I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, grief, depression, and emotional overwhelm.
Together, weโll work at a pace that feels manageable for you, drawing on approaches that are responsive to your individual needs and goals. My aim is to help you develop greater self-understanding, build self-compassion and emotional resilience, and feel more grounded and connected in your life.
Welcome!
What Brings You to Therapy?
You may be considering therapy because something in your life no longer feels manageable, or because you're ready to better understand yourself and make a change.
You might be:
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge
Carrying the effects of past trauma or difficult experiences
Feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward
Struggling with stress, burnout, or the demands of everyday life
Finding it difficult to connect with others or communicate how you feel
Experiencing low mood, loss of motivation, or a sense of disconnection
Losing interest in things that once brought you enjoyment
Struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing
Looking for greater self-understanding, personal growth, or a new sense of direction
What I Can Help With
Therapy can support you through many different challenges and life experiences. Together, we can explore what you're experiencing and find an approach that fits your needs, goals, and pace.
Anxiety, Depression & Emotional Overwhelm
Support for anxiety, low mood, worry, overthinking, panic, self-doubt, and feeling emotionally overwhelmed.
Trauma & PTSD
Support for trauma, difficult memories, PTSD symptoms, and experiences that continue to affect you.
Stress & Burnout
Support for chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, burnout, and feeling like you're carrying too much.
Grief & Loss
A compassionate space to work through grief, loss, and significant life transitions.
Specialized Support for First Responders
Police ยท Fire ยท Paramedics ยท Dispatch ยท Corrections ยท Partners
First responders can face unique pressures that aren't always easy to explain to people outside the profession. Repeated exposure to difficult situations, operational stress, high expectations, and the need to stay composed can have an impact over time.
I provide virtual psychotherapy for police officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, corrections professionals, and first responder partners across Ontario. Therapy can provide a confidential space to work through trauma, stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the cumulative impact of the work.
Therapy From the Comfort of Your Own Space
I provide secure virtual psychotherapy to adults across Ontario, allowing you to access therapy from a private and comfortable space that works for you.
Virtual sessions can make therapy more accessible by eliminating travel time and allowing you to connect from home or another private location. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, grief, or another challenge, we can work together online in a way that feels supportive and collaborative.

How We Can Work Together
Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your experiences, needs, and goals. I draw from different therapeutic approaches to help you develop greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.
EMDR Therapy
A structured, trauma-focused approach that can help reduce the emotional impact of distressing experiences and memories.
CBT
An evidence-based approach that explores the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Somatic Therapy
A body-aware approach that explores the connection between your emotions, physical sensations, and nervous system responses.
About Me
Hello, I'm Charlene.
Iโm a Registered Psychotherapist providing personalized, virtual psychotherapy to adults across Ontario. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed, recognizing that every person brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals to therapy.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we can explore what you're experiencing, develop greater self-understanding, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable for you.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation as an opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're looking for, and whether we might be a good fit.
What to Expect
Starting Therapy Can Feel Uncertain
Reaching out for therapy can bring up a lot of questions. What will the first session be like? What will I be expected to talk about? Will we be a good fit?
My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, collaborative, and straightforward from the beginning.
01-Start With a Consultation
Begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation where we can discuss what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and whether we're a good fit.
02-Create a Plan Together
If we decide to work together, we'll explore your experiences, identify your goals, and develop an approach that feels appropriate for you and your needs.
03-Work Toward Meaningful Change
As therapy progresses, we'll build practical tools and strategies while continuing to work toward the goals that brought you to therapy.
